The initial design and development was done with thanks through a cash investment, start up loan and support from Hugh Investment Group Corporation in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.
The first release of the web site as you see it, is intentionally simple to demonstrate to the community a framework upon which the site hopes to grow. Within the next year or so, we’d like to improve the look and feel, offer functionality for request for information (RFI), proposals (RFP) and quotes (RFQ), a job bank to share skills and resources, RRS new source and an online consumer products storefront.
Since the size and financial position of our users will vary hyper-dramatically, in order for our portal to remain viable and reach it’s goals, rather than charge monthly member fees, we’ve decided offer the service free, and to base our revenue purely on the value that users receive from our service.
Contributions can be made of amounts in any of the following areas and will recognized if desired on our Sponsor page.
- General support of the service;
- To sponsor a desired piece of functionality with “this sponsored by “ recognition.
- Banner advertisements with placement based on contribution;
- Low cost loan or grant to fund major functional or business case enhancements.
